in 1991 I had my whole mouth done with implant dentures. Though the years I have lost all the top except for two that I am now loosing. If I had known the expense I would never have done this. The top is called needle nose implants which ended up being a horible experience. i can not afford to have it corrected and have discomfort and it is affecting my work and life. It would cost monies that I do not have now that I am self supporting. I do have dental coverage but most is not covered. I can affort a plan but not what dentists are asking. Is there or are there resources that I can reach out to? Dental Schools that do this to benefit also by practicing their profession? Please help as I am so depressed at this point and do not know where to go from here. The bottom is still in tact but needs a new implant denture. These are screwed in to the bar put into my jaw. Please advise and thank you. I live in Staten Island, NY and work in New York City. I make enough to pay bills and can only afford a small payment plan. It is humiliating how I look and feel.
